Connecting Personal training to Physical Therapy
Michelle is able to work in all different settings with a variety of different clients.
Settings include: Work hardening, schools, senior homes, and post rehab fitness facilities.

Michelle has been a certified personal trainer for over seven years. She is certified through the International Sports Sciences Association has competed in numerous figure shows and a professional athlete in two sports. Michelle has a unique ability to lead and motivate others by making a strong commitment to her own health and fitness, she has been able to lead by example. She has an innovative and intuitive way of helping clients face their fears and overcome any obstacles that are preventing them from achieving their life goals. Michelle also has expertise in the nutritional component of wellness and has helped clients through empowerment coaching. She has traveled all over the world and has studied other aspects of wellness, including the emotional and spiritual component. She is certified in Tai Massage and in Reiki 1, 2, and 3. Michelle Lindsey is a national speaker and has traveled all over the United States for the past three years presenting seminars to various health professionals. Seminars are held by Cross Country Education Seminars and also through Motivations Inc. Michelle has three seminars: Integrating Neurotherapeutic and Sensory Techniques into Therapy for the Special Needs Client: A Systems Model Approach to Improving Function, Posture and Scoliosis - Flexibility and Function and Yoga Therapy: Achieving Greater Awareness and Understanding for Healing Our Clients and Ourselves.

Michelle Lindsey, PT, MBA, CPT is a physical therapist and the owner of Rising Star Therapy Specialist, LLC. Michelle Lindsey received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Indiana University then attended The Finch University of Health Sciences: Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois where she received her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Received her Masters in Business Administration Health Care Management at University of Phoenix. Michelle has been practicing Physical Therapist for twelve years. [ read more ]
